Dixie Planning To Reduce Out of State Tuition

$6700+ is not chicken change, beans or epa. The way Your countries currency continues to fall is not a laughing matter. Dixie is definitely not blind to the fact that they are losing international students at a very quick rate and what can they do to prevent this? Your guess is as good as mine. The board of trustees at Dixie are planning to reduce tuition by as much as $1000 and again a further $800+ if you have a GPA of 3.0 and a further $500 if you are an honour role student i.e you have a GPA of 3.5. Quite some desperate measures been taken by Dixie to keep students but why? According to professors, international students tend to to better at school than those that a not. So they want to keep them. This should be effective sometime during the fall semester. According to a source, Dixie is in a little bit of debt and the rate at which students are leaving is not helping matters. So lowering their price will not only keep students but also attract more. Lets see how this one pans out.
